Your horse is the first one to be able to tell you that he/she isn't feeling well.

I think with rub downs daily, we have caught things early. Watch how your horse reacts when you are rubbing down his legs. Is he lame? sore? Could there be a problem?

When I was a kid, I rode quite a bit - not in shows or anything but just for fun. Unfortunately, I've lived in the city for over twenty years and haven't had access to horses. I just moved back to the country (bought a nice though small farm) and I really want to get a couple horses. Do you think lessons to get back into riding would be a good idea first?

I have a silly little yearling foal that is driving me crazy. It's a little filly and she wants to jump every fence I put her in. She is a great jumper but she was not bred from jumpers. I can't seem to keep her in the pasture. So far, she just comes up to the house and stays in the backyard. I think I have her too spoiled. How can I keep this little filly in the pasture?

1. RidersCorral operates a three strike policy. Users will be warned a maximum of three times for any and all offences in a three month period. If the need arises for a fourth warning a temporary ban will be put in place of between 1 to 7 days.

2. Arguing with team members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Should this exceed three strikes a temporary ban will be put in place as stated above.

3. Users who feel they have been unfairly warned are welcome to contact the relevant team leader, e.g. if warned by a Moderator you should contact the Moderator Team Leader. If they feel you were treated badly they remove a warning. Their decision is final. Contacting group members over warning matters should be done so as a very last resort and privately.

4. Any attempt to circumvent a temporary ban will lead to that ban being made permanent. Circumvention includes re-registering under a non-banned username, changing IP addresses to evade an IP ban, registering a new email account of evade an email ban. Circumvention includes posting as an anonymous user.

5. An exception to the three strike rule applies when users contact team members personally (via any method) and post insulting, indecent or vulgar material. Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban.

6. Permanent bans are a last resort and thought is given before implementing them. While RidersCorral may consider lifting permanent bans from time to time this is a rare occurrence.

RidersCorral Admin
